If restrictive diets and eating methods have not worked for you in the past, we would definitely recommend trying the 6 Weeks To Summer challenge. The idea is that you can eat what you like (as long as it fits within your macros). Essentially, it's a hack for moderation and food freedom.
You've got big goals.
We truly believe in the power of pushing yourself for a short period of time in order to kickstart habits that will last much longer.
You want to see changes quickly.
The benefit of a 6 week challenge is that it puts you under pressure for a short amount of time in order to yield faster results. while we do not advise remaining in a cut for long periods, we have seen incredible transformations (physically, mentally, and emotionally) in short, energetic bursts of motivation.
This challenge is not for you if:
You are not in good health currently.
The 6 Weeks To Summer challenge was not created for anyone who is not currently in good health. we recommend that you come back and try it when your body is rested and ready. And as always advise that you consult with a doctor before beginning a new fitness or nutrition program.
You are pregnant or nursing.
We don't recommend operating in a caloric deficit while pregnant or nursing so therefore this challenge may not be for you right now. But that's okay, we're happy to help when you're ready!
You have never "dieted".
If you've never counting calories or dieted in any form, we'd recommend beginning with a coaching package so that you have guidance and can see results while you get more and more knowledgeable about the process. You will certainly see results quickly, but we don't want you to get burned out with an aggressive approach right away.

3. Prepare for Day One
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. When you join the challenge, you will receive tips, tricks, grocery lists, and sample meal plans to get you ready for day one and week one.

The scale doesn't count here. While many of our challengers do report losing weight, we stand by the transformation you will SEE and FEEL. Our winner will be chosen by their before and after photos.
When you purchase your 6 Weeks to Summer Program, you will receive a link to submit information for customized macros. These will be calculated for fat loss and lean muscle growth. During the challenge, we utilize carb cycling, which will mean you will have high carb and low carb days to help burn fat and fuel your workouts.
Meal Plans, Grocery Lists, and Tools
Although each challenger will have their own macro goals and foods that they choose, you won't be in the dark when it comes to HOW to reach those numbers. Within your CUT program, you will receive guidance on meal planning, grocery lists, nutrient timing, etc.
Home & Gym App Workouts
All new workouts will be available within the IHM App made specifically for this challenge. These workouts are designed to shred fat, build lean muscle, and increase endurance. Whether you're working out in the gym or at home, you will have step-by-step instructions on how to complete each exercise as well as how much cardio to complete.

"I had my second little boy 2 days after Christmas and I was pretty discouraged at how I could ever get my pre-pregnancy weight back... and now I am less than before baby...and so much stronger!!! Also, eating so much more!! I was 130ish before baby, 183 at delivery, 142 at the start of the cut and 126 today. Since then, I did the cut a little longer and then working on the reverse plan (even with flexible weekends here and there) and lost even more! I started macro counting (aka flexible dieting) a few years ago. Up until that point, I had tried every diet under the sun - low carb, high fat, Atkins, Paleo, Keto - you name it, I've tried it.
But all those diets left me feeling... deprived. Feeling deprived led me to binge eat, and I couldn't get out of that cycle. I would be "really good" and eat clean during the week, but on weekends, I would binge eat.For 10+ years I followed this pattern, until one day I researched macro counting and decided to try it. I fell in love with macro counting. Macro counting took away the feeling of being deprived. Macro counting took away anxiety and guilt around eating the "wrong" food. Macro counting has helped me progress mentally and physically. Now when I'm at my son's birthday, I have that piece of cake (without eating the whole thing).
